The World Out There

Trade the Piercing Gaze for a Peaceful Glow

Our Story

A Space Built for Her

Marookha — derived from the Spanish Maruja, a fun, trendy woman of the house — was born from a simple truth: women deserve a space where they can simply be themselves.

Founded in 2021 as the Gentlewoman's Club, Marookha quickly became TTDI's most beloved women-only destination. We built a sanctuary — not a facility — where women can shed societal roles, discover their inner hero, and find restoration.

Empowerment

Zero Male Employees.
Zero Compromise.

Marookha is a 100% women-only space — from the staff to the members. No exceptions, no negotiation. This is your sanctuary, protected and private, exactly as it should be.

Bring Your Little Ones Along

We know — finding time for yourself as a mama isn't easy. That's why we created a dedicated, beautifully designed kids' corner where your little ones can play, create, and explore while you train, relax, or catch up with friends.

Hand-painted murals, wooden toys, a play kitchen, and rocking horses — it's a world of imagination, right next to yours.

Independence & Belonging

As we reflect on independence and decolonisation, we explore what freedom means in our own lives.

This August, as hands shape warm dough with brown sugar inside, we'll share stories of family, culture, identity, and the small freedoms that shape who we become.

4

Tea & Kuih

Your onde-onde are boiled and rolled in fresh coconut. Enjoy them together over tea — the perfect ending.

What We'll Explore

Conversation Prompts

What's one food that reminds you of home?

Have you ever felt caught between different cultures?
What part of your heritage are you most proud of?

July Theme: JOY

Rediscover Simple Joy

Joy doesn't always come from grand moments. Sometimes, it's found in moving your body, sharing a laugh with new friends, and allowing yourself to slow down without feeling guilty.

As part of our July theme, JOY, we're inviting you to an afternoon dedicated to rediscovering simple, sustainable joy.

We'll begin with a light-hearted icebreaker before easing into a gentle movement flow suitable for all fitness levels. Afterwards, we'll gather around a table of delicious light bites, where conversation flows as freely as the food.

Together, we'll explore what joy looks like in adulthood, why we often struggle to prioritise it, and how small moments of movement, community, and rest can positively shape our overall wellbeing.

No fitness experience is required — just come as you are. #GirlsJustWannaFlow
