The World Out There

Trade the Piercing Gaze for a Peaceful Glow

In a world that constantly watches, judges, and defines — where even a simple workout means navigating unwanted stares — women deserve more. They deserve a space free from the fuss and flurry. A space that's truly theirs.

Our Story

A Space Built for Her

Marookha — derived from the Spanish Maruja, a fun, trendy woman of the house — was born from a simple truth: women deserve a space where they can simply be themselves.

Founded in 2021 as the Gentlewoman's Club, Marookha quickly became TTDI's most beloved women-only destination. We built a sanctuary — not a facility — where women can shed societal roles, discover their inner hero, and find restoration.

Hospitality

Empowerment

Zero Male Employees.
Zero Compromise.

Marookha is a 100% women-only space — from the staff to the members. No exceptions, no negotiation. This is your sanctuary, protected and private, exactly as it should be.

For Little Ones

Bring Your Little Ones Along

We know — finding time for yourself as a mama isn't easy. That's why we created a dedicated, beautifully designed kids' corner where your little ones can play, create, and explore while you train, relax, or catch up with friends.

Hand-painted murals, wooden toys, a play kitchen, and rocking horses — it's a world of imagination, right next to yours.

September Theme

More Than a Recipe

Because food is rarely just food. It's something we learn from someone, make for someone, and remember from somewhere.

This September — around Malaysia Day — we'll gather around Palestinian Ma'amoul, learning to shape the dough, fill it with dates, and create these traditional pastries by hand.

As our hands stay busy, we'll share food memories, family recipes, traditions, and the stories behind the foods we love. No pressure to share — just space to listen and connect.

Your Afternoon

How It Works

1

Gather & Connect

Settle in with tea and meet fellow participants around the table in a warm, relaxed space.

2

Hands in Dough

Learn to make Palestinian Ma'amoul. Shape the dough, fill it with dates, and create your own pastries by hand.

3

Stories & Conversation

As hands stay busy, we'll talk about food memories, family recipes, and the stories behind the foods we love. Sharing is optional.

4

Tea & Take Home

Enjoy your freshly made Ma'amoul over tea — then take what you've made home to share or save.

What We'll Explore

Conversation Prompts

What's a food you could never get tired of?
Who taught you something in the kitchen?
What's a recipe you associate with someone you love?
A food you discovered from another culture and fell in love with?
Is there a dish that instantly takes you back somewhere?
What's one food you'd teach someone else to make?
